Fort Wars started out very simple. It was merely an island in the water surrounded by smaller islands. Later versions, its appearance change drastically. 1.0 featured soaring cliffs that appeared to reach the sky. Fort Wars 2.0 had plans to take this even further with the inclusion of rain and snow effects, but due to extreme lag on lower end pcs, the feature was removed. Perhaps one day there would be wind and mountains as well. Only time will tell.
