The lower trendline breaks on IWM/IWO last Friday that didn't hold into close ended up breaking anyway.  Picked up IWM Nov 81x puts at $1.40

This SPY signal was actually generated Friday, so I'm definitely noticing this one a bit late.  However, this strategy is the most comprehensive of the 3 I currently have, using all the indicators I know instead of just being led by either Trendlines or RSI.  The significance is that this strategy has not made a trade since June (long) when I first wrote it, so it's basically the first trade it's making since it was born. :O I'm very confused though why it shorted at such a low point; will be watching closely to see how it performs in real life now.


Altogether a very confusing past week for me so far.  We basically had short signals from support trendlines breaking across the board on the S&P individual stocks and on several sector indicies but at the same time, a few select indicies were oversold and marked as long for the RSI-driven strategy.  The addition of this third more complex strategy also weighing short on the SPY itself just makes me more confused.

More support breaks just now. Only valid if we don't rally back up into close of course.

Picked up Nov 31x calls on DIA at $1.70.  Oversold + bottom signal recently.  Only thing is I'm not sure how well the signal works for this symbol.  Again, only really picking this up as a hedge against all the Trendline short signals.

Out of MMM calls at $1.25 (from $1.10)

Added Nov 95x puts on ALXN at $4.

Picked up Nov 35x puts at $.34 on XLP, trendline break downwards.  Program only giving out trendline breaks to the downside today; no RSI long plays due to multiple bearish patterns it picked up.

Program didn't consider the dip Friday for AAPL as strong enough for a break.  We need to close down strongly today to confirm it or the support will remain.

Potential support break on NVDA.  Watch the close for a stronger sell off (instead of just the edge of the candle breaching the trendline).

No new trendline breaks so far today but a few Bottom signals.  Ironically one on APOL.
Note the Bottom signals don't specify how long it might take to bounce - we could flatline for months from any of these.
Also depends on how we close today as usual.

Watching BK for an upper trendline break.  Needs to close higher for the break to validate.

Picked up two trendline breaks so far on WYNN (long) and BBT (short).  Going to watch into close to make sure they hold before opening positions.

Price, volume, and RSI seem to be calling for a bottom on the NASDAQ here but hitrate isn't as reliable.  Also the RSI2 spread is quite wide - usually you want it to be tight for better conviction.

Definitely too late to trade off of but just thought it was interesting my program picked up a trendline break on CLWR friday. I only bothered to run it on CLWR just now though so it doesn't help much.

Amazing turnaround overnight - SPY up above 144 in premarket.

First time screening for intraday trendline breaks with my program - just trying this out as I don't know how effective it is on the 30-min chart yet (it works for buying the stock itself but not sure if the movement if enough for options).

Picked up a few EXC 35x Oct calls at $1.25

Picked up Nov calls for RSX at $1.20 based on short-term oversold.  Signal was from previous day so I was actually going to buy this morning cheaper but I hesitated.

Yeah, I gotta stop making these side trades and stick to my program.  Typical sell the news with PCS - good thing only picked up a few.

And while I was preoccupied with PCS, I didn't notice my program made another RSI flip on SPY (could've been another 50-100% trade on calls).  Really need to get it sending me emails soon so I can notice them without going home to run the program.

Got my exit signal for the SPY trade last week, which will pretty much hold today unless we close super-bullish (at HOD or something).  It trades on close prices only though, so when the best time is to sell today is ambiguous.  It also doesn't mean we can' t go higher, just that now my program has no clue what the market will do from here.

That RSI2 trade is working great. It predicted long going into ECB and now it predicted Spanish austerity announcements. :p

Finally a decent trendline break on my program.  Into CHRW Nov 60x calls at $2.25


SYY also doing well from last week.  Still holding a few SPY and BAC calls just for gamble on QE.

No longer in ALTR though; let those go at a loss.  Going to stick to trendline trades only from now on.
