I acquired my own camera for the first time in middle school and subsequently went crazy taking photos all the time. I was the kid who always had a camera in his pocket long before pocket cameras were half decent and before phones had the ability to take photos. I used to take so many photos that a friend once told me going through my albums was like reliving a day from the past through my eyes. Others would say that because of how poor my vision has become, the camera is the only way for me to actually see the world around me.
